The prepaid meter solution provides a good financial advantage solution for our utility customers. Water meters are built with ball valves (residential) or priority valves (bulk) to enable water authorities to charge for water before it is used. Users need to recharge the IC card to use water, when the water balance is used up, the water valve automatically closes.
The solution is also applicable to situations where water bills are high.
