In the current situation of relative
shortage of water resources and rising water supply cost, improving the management level of urban
water supply network and reducing the leakage of pipe network system, especially the low
differential rate of water supply production and sales, have become the focus of the water supply
industry.
The difference rate of production and sales of Water supply refers to the ratio of the difference
between water supply and sales to water supply. The difference rate of production and sales of water
supply is a direct reflection of the economic benefits of the water supply industry, and it also
indirectly reflects the situation of Non-revenue water in the water supply network, including
leakage, and is the main indicator to measure the control level of leakage in the water supply

The main reasons for
the high production and sales difference of the water supply network are as follows:
● 1) Pipe network leakage, including open leakage, dark
leakage and background leakage caused by small corrosion in pipe joints and pipes (undetectable
leakage)
● 2) Water meter measurement error or failed to collect
water charge after meter measurement
● 3) Inability to measure water, illegal water use, and
water theft
Therefore, the DMA system independently designed and developed by Tengyue
can timely and effectively discover the leakage of pipe network, and illegal water use/theft, and repair
it in time, thereby reducing the proportion of the difference between production and sales of the water
supply pipe network, and greatly improving the economic benefits of the water company.

DMA system planning
DMA(District Metering Area) zoning metering management, by cutting off the pipe section
or closing the valve on the pipe section, the pipe network is divided into several
relatively independent areas, and in each area of the inlet and outlet pipes installed
with data upload function of the bulk meter/flow meter, to realize the monitoring of the
inflow flow of each area. At the same time, household water meters with data
upload functions (GPRS/NB-IOT smart water meters, etc.) are installed in other water
points (end users) in the region to monitor the flow of water points in each region.
