Tengyue provides an alternative for utilities whose meter reading infrastructure does not automatically transfer meter data to a central database: Walk By or Drive By. The meter reading solution uses a Tengyue data collector and console to automatically collect nearby meter information by walking or driving through a street where the water meter is installed, and upload it to Tengyue’s innovative Data Management System for statistical analysis.

In Walk-By or Drive-By system, the smart water meter will be read automatically, the collected data is used to remind problems that need attention, such as water meter disconnect, leakage, reflux, battery status, and attempt to tamper with.
